Taxidermy Magpie on Burl Wood Base - This is a full-body taxidermy specimen of a magpie, a member of the Pica genus, often identified in similar commercial contexts as the Eurasian Magpie (Pica pica). The specimen is mounted in a life-like standing posture on an upright, naturalistic burl wood base. Its plumage features the characteristic black head, breast, and back, with white feathers on the shoulders and belly. The wing feathers display a distinct iridescent blue sheen, and the tail feathers exhibit iridescent green and bronze hues. A white paper tag is attached to the base via a string, and a small white plastic or metal band is affixed to the right tarsus.
