Clinton Decoy Cast Metal Owl on Stand - 21 in tall. This stylized owl sculpture is a vintage cast metal form originally produced by the Clinton Decoy Company of Clinton, Iowa. The object features a minimalist, elongated body that tapers to a point at its base. It is finished with a distressed silver-toned coating and accented with two inset amber-colored circular eyes and a dark, curved beak. The reverse of the cast metal body is embossed with identifying marks: the word PATENTED appears on the left edge, DECOYS on the right edge, and CLINTON IOWA is centered horizontally across the back. The piece is presented as an industrial folk art sculpture, mounted on a modern rectangular black-painted metal stand with a thin vertical support rod.
