Arched Wrought Iron Fleur-de-lis Grille - 44x30 This large architectural wall element is designed in a demilune or arched transom style, constructed from wrought iron or a similar metal alloy. The piece features a semi-circular outer frame joined to a flat, rectangular base. The interior decorative work consists of symmetrical scrolled metalwork and straight rods radiating from a central arched hub. Three cast metal fleur-de-lis motifs are positioned along the lower horizontal section, flanked by additional scrollwork and arrow-tip accents. The metal components are secured with banded joints. The entire piece has a mottled, antiqued finish in shades of dark brown and metallic bronze-gold. Based on style and construction, the item reflects Mediterranean or French-inspired decorative ironwork. No manufacturer marks or signatures were found during inspection; an auction tag from Alden Keller Auctions with the number 89 is attached to the frame.
