Wedgwood Devonshire Shaving Scuttle - 4x4 A Wedgwood glazed earthenware shaving scuttle in the Devonshire pattern. The creamware body is decorated with relief-molded bas-relief scenes of a traditional fox hunt, featuring figures on horseback and hunting hounds. The handle is intricately formed as a leaping dog. The vessel includes a side spout for filling with hot water and a perforated top deck for holding a shaving soap puck. The base is marked with the printed circular factory stamp of Etruria Wedgwood Made in England & Barlaston. It also features handwritten inscriptions in gold ink: Wedgwood, 1991, and the signature Lord Wedgwood. This signature corresponds to Piers Wedgwood, 4th Baron Wedgwood.
