Wagner Ware Cast Iron Chicken Fryer #8 - This vintage cast iron deep skillet, commonly identified as a chicken fryer, was manufactured by the Wagner Manufacturing Company in Sidney, Ohio. The pan features high walls, dual pouring spouts, and a primary handle complemented by a helper handle located opposite it. The construction is solid cast iron with a smooth exterior base and no heat ring. The underside of the skillet is marked with the stylized Wagner Ware Sidney -O- logo. The catalog number 1088 S is incised near the bottom edge of the base. The top surface of the primary handle is marked with the number 8, indicating the skillet's size.
