Blue & White Swirl Graniteware Carriers - 7x9x7 This set of antique blue and white swirl graniteware stacking food carrier pieces consists of a deep lower pot, a nesting secondary pot, and a matching domed lid. The pieces feature a high contrast cobalt blue and white agate swirl pattern, a style commonly known as graniteware. The lower pot is fitted with a heavy gauge wire bail handle, and the secondary pot is designed to nest securely within the rim of the base. The lid features a matching swirl pattern and a fixed strap handle. Each component is finished with a dark enamel bead along the rims. The set is constructed of vitreous enamel fused over a pressed metal form. The interior of each piece is finished in white enamel. No manufacturer marks are present on the items.
