Bidspirit auction | Cobalt & White Swirl Graniteware

Cobalt & White Swirl Graniteware Trio - Pot is 10x6. Others are 6 and 8.5. This three-piece collection of antique enamelware, commonly known as graniteware, features a high-contrast cobalt blue and white swirl pattern. The set includes a large bail-handled pot, a complete double boiler, and a coffee pot. The items are constructed of vitreous enamel fired over a metal substrate, a characteristic technique used to create the marbled aesthetic. The large cylindrical pot is equipped with a wire bail handle featuring a turned wooden grip, a fixed secondary side handle, and a matching lid with a centered metal loop handle. The double boiler consists of two nesting pots and a shared lid. Both the base pot and the upper insert feature long, black-finished metal handles. The lid is finished with a black wooden knob. The coffee pot is designed with a gooseneck spout, a hinged lid, and a single black-finished loop handle. The interior includes integrated strainer holes at the base of the spout. No maker marks are present on any of the pieces; white paper inventory stickers are adhered to the lids and interior rim.
