American Aluminum Crossbuck Sign R15-1 - 48x48 An American railroad crossing crossbuck sign, designated as MUTCD R15-1. The sign is constructed of two aluminum blades featuring a white high-intensity prismatic reflective coating with a visible honeycomb pattern. The lettering RAILROAD and CROSSING is applied in black. The reverse of each blade is reinforced with extruded horizontal structural ribs. The two blades are secured together at the center by two mounting bolts. A contemporary white adhesive inventory tag with a barcode and the digits 027788 is present on the back. This style of sign is standard for road-grade railroad crossings in the United States. Each blade measures 48 inches long by 9 inches wide.
