Swirled Enamelware Double Handled Basin - 17.5x5.5 An antique utilitarian oval wash basin constructed of pressed steel or iron with a vitreous enamel finish. The exterior features a brown and white mottled swirl pattern, commonly referred to as graniteware or agateware. The interior is finished in solid white enamel with a thin black enamel border along the rolled rim. Two loop-style metal handles are riveted to the shorter ends. The base shows a circular metal patch repair. No maker marks are visible.
