Copper Duck Weathervane w/ Directionals - 35 inches tall. This three-dimensional weathervane features a full-bodied copper figure of a duck, rendered in a traditional American folk art style with a pointed tail similar to a pintail. The hollow-body copper bird is mounted on a vertical iron or steel rod above two graduated decorative copper spheres. The assembly includes a set of four cast metal directional arms indicating North, South, East, and West. The duck figure is constructed from seamed copper sections. A modern stainless steel hose clamp is attached to the base of the mounting rod, which retains remnants of a black finish. No maker marks, signatures, or labels were identified during inspection.
