Mid-19th C. American Primitive Dry Sink - This mid-19th-century American primitive dry sink is a single-piece unit constructed from solid pine with a warm amber finish. The piece features a high-back gallery equipped with a narrow shelf and two small drawers, one at each upper corner. Below the gallery, the base features a deep, recessed sink well. The lower cabinet section contains two doors mounted on black-painted iron strap hinges, which open to a white-painted interior containing two full-width shelves and a vertical beadboard back. Flanking the cupboard doors are two additional small drawers built into the side frame. The piece is fitted with white porcelain knobs on all drawers and doors. The back is constructed with wide, rough-hewn pine planks. No maker marks, stamps, or signatures are present. 61x22x48.5
