Victorian Burr Walnut Tea Caddy and Decorative Boxes with Mother-of-Pearl Inlay - A Victorian 19th-century tea caddy of figured burr walnut veneer, featuring decorative parquetry stringing and borders with inset mother-of-pearl cartouches to the lid and escutcheon. The interior is fitted with a tufted red satin lid lining and a silver-toned foil-lined base containing two matching lidded canisters. The collection also includes three smaller wooden boxes: a dark-stained box with a lift-off lid; a light-toned box with a hinged metal clasp, incised circular lid design, and holly-patterned paper interior; and a small rectangular box with a floral motif to the lid.
