Poole Pottery Studio Guy Sydenham Stoneware Globular Vase 5 inch high - A Poole Pottery stoneware vase of globular onion form, designed and potted by Guy Sydenham. The vessel features a narrow tapered neck and is finished in a complex reactive volcanic glaze. The upper section displays mottled tones of burnt orange and amber which flow into a dark, textured charcoal and grey speckled body, interspersed with splashes of teal and sea-green. The base is impressed with the factory mark POOLE ENGLAND within a rectangular cartouche and the circular GS monogram.
