Meiji Japanese Marquetry Chest w/ 3 Jade Pieces - Meiji period (1868-1912) Japanese lacquer & marquetry jewelry box or collector's chest w/ 9 total drawers. The 2 doors to the top compartment feature designs of Mt. Fuji w/ pair of red-crowned cranes flying by & an eagle perched on a tree. Item measures approx. 6” x 11.75” x 12.5” tall. Included in the drawers are 3 carved jade pieces approx 3” each.
