Japanese Kagami Metal Mirror w/ Lacquered Case - Japanese kagami (mirror) made of brass/bronze (not tested). Embossed side of the kagami features a nature scene w/ Manchurian (red-crowned) cranes, a turtle, & a pine tree. Item is marked w/ a phrase on the left that translates to something like, ”Tenka Tanaka Yoshi Fujiwara Yoshinaga”. The mirror's symbols are for longevity. Item comes in a lacquered wood case w/ some damage to outer layer of wood. Mirror measures approx. 13” from bottom of handle to top of mirror & 9.25” in diameter. Some patina present.
