Chinese Doucai Porcelain Meiping Vase Pair - Pair of identical Chinese porcelain meiping vases that utilize the decorative technique of Doucai, painting some parts of the design, including outlines, in underglaze blue, after which the piece is glazed and fired. Additional colors are then applied within the blue outlines & the piece is fired again at a lower temperature. Design features a woman in a garden scene w/ a fenghuang phoenix & yellow birds. Vases measure approx. 8.25” tall, 2.5” in diameter at mouth, & 5” in diameter at widest point. See photos for further details.
