19th C Monumental Porcelain Lady Figure (Levy) - A c 1850 hand painted Charles Levy / Ch. Levy, Charenton, France (1820-1899) porcelain polychrome glazed woman / lady figurine in colorful and gilded garments, blue shawl, long pink floral dress, gold crown, blue purse / chatelaine hanging to left side, standing on mossy knoll. She measures approx. 31” high on 10” dia round base. Figure is missing the index finger on the raised hand, index finger on other hand appears repaired, tight hairlines 2 on base, 1 on skirt fold near purse, on skirt fold at bottom, in cape. Condition as seen in photography. Mark on bottom of item is a single sword with an ”X” guard or line with 5 points. A 1990 Appraisal for her is included with estimate of $2,000 (pre-finger loss).
