WW2 Signed Japanese Samurai Katana + Sheath - WW2 era Japanese Samurai Katana with leather over shark skin wrapped tsuka (tang), two menuki are wrapped on the tsuka between the shark skin and the leather ito, one is slightly rubbed and has a gold tint, not tested, highly decorated iron tsuba, original leather wrapped saya (scabbard) with highly decorated owl-shaped iron belt loops, original peg in tsuka is missing and has been replaced with a screw and nut, blade is sharp folded steel, note some nicks from age and use, and signed under the wrap on the tang, measures 39.5” L.
