Fine French Empire Monumental Bronze Sconces (Pr) - A pair of fine over 3' H French Empire style gilt bronze sconces - ribbon top - depicting a coat of arms of a winged horse (possibly Pegasus) backed by an eagle, quiver of arrows (could represent the thunderbolts of Zeus which were carried by an Eagle), olive branch and staff. Swag ribbon top up top. The 3 candle / port arms are attached with screw and can be tightened, lights take standard light bulb and come with clip on shades. Each sconce is approx. 39” high with three arms measuring approx. 13” deep off of wall. Over 3' H and approx. 41 pounds each, 82 pounds total.
