Antique Japanese Imari Charger - Antique Japanese Imari porcelain charger, dating to the late Tokugawa period. Octagonal with a scalloped edge, platter features a richly detailed design of peonies, chrysanthemums, and birds perched on branches, with bold red, cobalt blue, green and gold enamels. The center medallion is ringed by floral sprays and cartouches. Reverse is decorated with blue ribbon and lantern motifs. Measures approx. 13” in diameter.
