Antique Large Japanese Imari Charger - A large 19th-century Japanese Imari porcelain charger, circa 1860, featuring an unusual design showcasing phoenix and peony motifs. The lower half of the plate is painted in red with arabesque vine patterns centering around a stylized floral medallion. Reverse is decorated with a continuous scrolling arabesque design in underglaze blue. Approx. 16” diameter.
