Oil Canvas Portrait of Priest in Ceremonial Dress - The mid 20th century oil on canvas painting depicts a portrait of a priest in ceremonial dress. It has an insignia on top left painted on it, which reads, ”Episcopal Theological Seminary in Kentucky 1832”. It is signed lower left ”Essig - 1966” and on the back ”I. R. Essig 1966”. Frame measures 48” h x 41.5” w and exposed image measures 39.25” h x 32.5” w. Frame has some surface scratches and the canvas has a stretch in it at the top edge & slightly at left of priest.
