A massive example with antler grips, the bolsters and reinforces elaborately inlaid with gold, the blade wrought of fine wootz. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard. Early 20th c. Overall length 51cm. Likely produced for the Delhi Durbar of 1936 at the accession of King George VI which was ultimately canceled. Condition II
