AN ARAB KHANJAR DAGGER - A rare example of Hijazi type, known as a Dharia, the horn grip mounted in silver with filigreed bosses, the wooden scabbard mounted in silver studs and filigreed chape en suite with the hilt. The handwrought blade broad, lightly curved and double-edged. Retains its original embroidered leather belt. 19th century. Minor areas of wear. Overall length 58.3cm / 23 inches. Condition II
