AN SPANISH CUPHILT RAPIER SWORD - The cup well chiseled and pierced with bands of foliate work throughout, with long quillons and knucklebow and profiled guardapolvo, the pommel chiseled en suite. Grip with much original sharkskin covering. The long, double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section with pronounced central fuller at the forte struck with illegible marks. Mid-17th century. Minor wear. Overall length 109 cm / 43 inch . Condition III
