Aufgrund fehlender gesicherter Werke ist die Zuschreibung schwierig. Diesem Werk beigelegt ist eine Kopie eines Gutachtens von 1965, welches den Künstler als Hans Mair von Landshut zuschreibt. Wegen der Art der Architekturwiedergabe, welche typisch für Altarretabel aus der Zeit und dem Umland von Landshut ist, kann diese Zuschreibung jedoch mit sehr hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit vorgenommen werden.
