On a dark, gloomy background, there is a bright, luminous center of the picture. However, in his work, this is not designed in a representational way, but rather has a non-representational form, created with impulsive brushstrokes. This center of events is subtly enveloped in a delicate play of light and shadow. The viewer's eye wanders, wanting to recognize something familiar, to let the gaze settle. However, the expressive yet nuanced application of paint and the shape of the object always lead the eye further.
