ANTIQUE 19TH C RUSSIAN ORTHODOX ICON OF SAINT FEODOSIY - An antique Russian Orthodox icon depicting Saint Feodosiy Chernigovskiy, dating to the second half of the 19th century. Hand-painted in traditional mixed media egg tempera on a gesso and levkas ground on a wooden panel with a gold background. The icon is adorned with a finely hand enameled frame featuring floral and foliage motifs. The saints name is inscribed in Church Slavonic at the lower central register.
