RUSSIAN SOVIET ERA LANSKOY STILL LIFE PAINTING - This vibrant oil on cardboard still life painting by Russian-French artist André Lanskoy (1902–1976) features a dynamic composition of a tall dark bottle, a light blue vessel, a woven basket, and various colorful gourds and fruits arranged on a surface. Executed with the artist's characteristic thick, energetic brushstrokes and a warm, expressive color palette, the artwork bridges representational form with his later tachisme and abstract tendencies.
