CHARLES LIDDERDALE ENGLISH WATERCOLOR PAINTING - An original watercolor painting by recognized British artist Charles Sillem Lidderdale (1830-1895), dated 1883. The finely rendered portrait depicts a young woman wearing a dark cloak, a blue neck bow, and a delicate white lace bonnet accented with a pink ribbon, set against a softly blurred woodland background. The artwork is signed in the lower right corner with the artist's characteristic red interlocking monogram ”CSL” above the year ”83”.
