LARS NORRMAN AFRICAN WOMEN IN WHEAT FIELD SILKSCREEN 1971 - A striking 1971 silkscreen by Swedish artist Lars Norrman (1915–1979), known for his travel-inspired Fernand Léger-esque style. Titled African Women in a Wheat Field, the work features bold, flat fields of color depicting two figures against a stylized landscape. It is hand-signed and plate-signed by the artist, and bears a personalized inscription ”Sten med hälsn” (To Sten with greetings) dated ”20/11 - 71”. The verso carries a label for Sten Andersson in Nueva Andalucia, linking the work to the stated provenance of the Yair Art Gallery, Tel Aviv.
