ANTIQUE 18TH C RUSSIAN ICON FEAST OF THE CROSS - An antique Russian Orthodox icon. Dated 18th century. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board with gilding. The icon is divided into three parts, depicting the Feast of the Cross in the upper left, Mother of God with Baby Jesus in the upper right, and Archangles with Apostles in the bottom.
