FLORAL STILL LIFE PAINTING BEARS SIGNATURE DAVID BURLIUK - An expressive mid-century oil on canvas board floral still life, painted in the heavily textured, impasto style associated with Ukrainian-American artist David Burliuk (1882–1967). The composition depicts a vibrant bouquet of pink and white peonies in a rustic vase, set against a dynamic, streaked background. The painting bears the signature ”BURLIUK 62” in the lower right corner. The reverse of the board features the original Crescent Paintapanel manufacturer markings and a vintage gallery label for the Yamatoya Fine Art Gallery in Hakone, Japan.
