Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board, enclosed in silver riza or oklad framing with gilt repousse decor. Hallmark of 84 silver standard, makers mark AU, and assay mark are on the side. The icon is enclosed in a wooden kiot case.
