ANTIQUE ROYAL VIENNA HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN BEER STEIN - A fine antique porcelain lidded beer stein or tankard by Royal Vienna. Dated late 19th century. Richly gilded piece. The body is embellished with elaborate ornamentation and a multi-figure panel after the painting titled 'The Legend of Cupid Psyche' by Angelica Kauffman (1741–1807). Female portraits on the obverse and reverse of the lid. Brass hinge topped with a crown finial. Underglaze blue Royal Vienna beehive mark and painted 'W Dresden Germany' mark on the underside.
