IMPERIAL RUSSIAN PORCELAIN KORBIEVSKY SERVICE PLATES - A pair of Imperial Russian porcelain plates. Produced by the Imperial Porcelain Factory (IFZ). Korbievskiy service. Floral motif at the center is encompassed with grape bunches and elaborate gilding. One plate is stamped 'NI' for the reign of Nicholas I, the other is stamped 'NII 1910' for the reign of Nicholas II. The Korbievsky service was considered one of the most beloved and long-lived sets for the Romanov family. It was introduced into use in 1823 during the reign of Nicholas I and served at the court for almost 100 years. It was originally produced at the Kornilov Manufacture.
