ANTIQUE FRENCH SEVRES ROYAL PORCELAIN TEA SERVICE - A gorgeous antique French Sevres porcelain tea service comprising 14 items: a tea pot, a creamer, 6 tea cups, and 6 saucers. Dated 19th century. White ware with richly gilded rims and handles. Each piece is hand-painted with either the 'Austriaco Semper Fidelis' coat of arms or crowned monogram RSC, as well as gold stars and garlands. Red crowned interlaced L's mark. Sevres is a prominent French fine porcelain manufacture active since 1740 and owned by the French crown or government since 1759.
