RUSSIAN SOVIET ERA GRIGORY GLUCKMANN INK PAINTING - This original Chinese ink on canvas painting, laid on cardboard, is the work of listed Russian-American artist Grigory Gluckmann (1898-1973). The composition features an expressive, monochromatic gathering of four standing figures rendered with bold, textured strokes that utilize the canvas weave to enhance the artwork's atmospheric depth. Clearly signed ”g. gluckmann” in the lower right corner, the piece is presented under glass within its original off-white mat and faux-burl wood frame, with the aged cardboard reverse bearing old handwritten inventory numbers.
