THREE 19C ANTIQUE AUSTRIAN ROYAL VIENNA PORCELAIN PLATES - A fine set of three nineteenth century Austrian Royal Vienna porcelain plates featuring pierced borders and rich cobalt blue grounds heavily ornamented with raised gilt scrollwork and regal crowns. Each dish is centered by a finely hand painted square reserve depicting classical and romantic scenes individually signed by the artist Pauli. The reverse of each piece bears the underglaze blue shield mark alongside scripted titles identifying the subjects as Mars and Venus, Papirius and his Mother, and The Sleeping Knight. collectible ceramics, display dishware, european antiques, hand decorated porcelain, vintage cabinet plates, gold trim.
