PAIR OF 18TH C. ZURICH PORCELAIN CUPS & SAUCERS, FIGURAL - A superb pair of 18th-century hard-paste porcelain cups and saucers by the Swiss Zürcher Porzellanmanufaktur (Zurich Factory). The saucers are beautifully hand-painted with vivid Deutsche Blumen floral sprays. The cups feature exceptional miniaturist painting, depicting romantic, Rococo-style figural and landscape scenes in the Meissen taste. Marks: Each piece bears the underglaze blue ”Z” mark of the Zurich factory to the underside. 18th century swiss porcelain, zurich porcelain z mark, antique figural teacup, meissen style decoration Dimensions Saucer diameter: 5 5/8 in. Cup height: 2 5/8 in. Condition Very Good Antique Condition. One cup has a small restoration on the top rim. The hand-painted enamels remain exceptionally bright and crisp. Both cups exhibit minor, age-appropriate ”flea-bite” chips to the top gilded rims (see photos).
