GERMAN PFEIFFER PERIOD PORCELAIN MEISSEN BIRD CUP & SAUCER - An exquisite German hard-paste porcelain cup and saucer by the renowned Meissen Manufactory, produced during the Pfeiffer Period (1924-1934). The undulating, scalloped bodies feature a subtle molded basket-weave texture. The set is masterfully hand-painted with detailed scenes of swans and herons in marshy landscapes, alongside a central rococo cartouche. Finished with delicate gilded rims.
