SOVIET LFZ SUMMER GARDEN MAY SHAPE PORCELAIN CUP & SAUCER - A highly collectible Soviet porcelain ”May” shape tea cup and saucer by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ), circa 1970-1986. The set features the famous 1923 avant-garde design by Nikolai Suetin, depicting a stylized geometric representation of the Summer Garden fence in Leningrad in vibrant emerald green and bright gold leaf. Marks: The base of both pieces bears the red LFZ monogram, the cup further stamped with the elite ”ВНЕ ГР” (Beyond Group) quality mark and the original Soviet price of 7-00 Rubles. lfz porcelain cup, lomonosov summer garden, nikolai suetin porcelain, soviet avant garde design, leningrad porcelain.
