IMPERIAL RUSSIAN SILVER NIELLO BEAKER 1872 - A finely crafted Imperial 19th-century Russian silver gilt beaker featuring elaborate niello decoration in the Pan Slavic taste. The cylindrical body is adorned with intricate architectural medallions depicting traditional Russian church and Kremlin views framed by scrolling foliate motifs and geometric borders. A central circular cartouche displays an elegantly engraved monogram, while the bright original gilt interior provides a striking contrast to the darkened exterior finish.
