ANTIQUE RUSSIAN 84 SILVER ART NOUVEAU BACCHIC CIGARETTE CASE - This antique Russian 84 silver cigarette case, dating from the late Imperial era circa 1908–1917, features an exceptional Art Nouveau design executed in crisp high relief. The front cover portrays a classical Bacchic scene with a reclining female figure and Bacchus framed by cascading grapevines, while the lower section features an applied Cyrillic script overlay reading ”На память” (For remembrance). The reverse cover is personalized with an applied interlocking monogram, and the clasp mechanism is accented by a polished cabochon thumbpiece. Opening the hinge reveals a beautifully preserved gold-washed interior stamped with the 84 zolotnik kokoshnik assay mark and the maker's initials D.S.
