LARGE GALLÉ ART NOUVEAU CAMEO GLASS BERRY VASE - A tall, striking French Art Nouveau cameo glass vase by Cristallerie Gallé, dating to the early 20th century. The vase features a classic ”stick” form with a long, slender neck flaring into a compressed, bulbous base. The cased glass features a vibrant, frosted amber/yellow ground overlaid with layers of dark green and brownish-purple glass. The outer layers have been expertly acid-etched to reveal a highly detailed, continuous botanical motif of leafy branches and hanging clusters of berries. Marks: Signed ”Gallé” in cameo to the lower neck. Condition Very Good Antique Condition. The glass is structurally sound with no visible chips, cracks, or restorations. The colors are vibrant.
