Avigdor Renzo Luisada (1905, Florence, Italy - 1987, Israel) was an Israeli painter and illustrator born in Italy.
Luisada worked in Florence and Milan as an illustrator until 1936. He received his first guidance from his painter grandfather, and later in the years he studied at an academy in Florence. From there he continued to the National Academy of San Luca in Rome (Accademia di San Luca). From 1936 to 1939 he was secretary and then director of the Milan Refugee Committee. He went on study trips to Italy, Paris, Belgium and the Netherlands.
In 1939, Luisada immigrated to Israel. In Israel he worked as a farmer and later as an illustrator and teacher in elementary schools. During his career as a teacher he illustrated many textbooks and enrichment. He was also the painter of the "Watcher for Children" newspaper, and even wrote a column in which he taught the children how to observe art.
From 1965 to 1975, he taught art history at ORT and the Seminary for Painting Teachers in Tel Aviv, and has exhibited in several solo exhibitions at the Tel Aviv Museum, the Artists' House in Jerusalem, the Aspas Gallery in Paris, and the Ramat Gan Museum. And also exhibited in group exhibitions at the Venice Biennale. Participated in all New Horizons exhibitions, took part in international exhibitions such as "Twenty Israeli Artists" in Sao Paulo and Paulskirche in Frankfurt.
