Seltzer Bottle Salesman Sample - An unidentified salesman sample seltzer bottle. While marked JJ-56 on the siphon, that is likely a mold number. There is no manufacturer mark on the bottle. The – non-working – siphon screws on; it is a single piece, not the two-piece split ring construction of an actual working siphon. ( There were numerous bottle manufacturers named J.J.: Jos. James Bottling Works, Red Jacket, Michigan; J. J. Lackawanna Bottling Works, West Seneca, NY among others. ) The ribbed bottle is about 5 1/8 inches tall and 2 inches diameter. With the siphon, it is about 6 ½ inches tall.
