Cool Cube from Day & Night Manufacturing Company - Day & Night Manufacturing Company is a manufacturer of HVAC systems for homes. The paperweight is designed as a replica of an exterior HVAC heat exchange unit aka air conditioner. History, per Google: Day & Night began in 1909 as a California-based solar water heater manufacturer. It was a pioneer, installing over 2,000 units by the 1920s. Later, after becoming a major HVAC brand, it merged with the BDP Company (Bryant-Day & Night-Payne) in the 1950s, which was acquired by Carrier in 1955. Following the 1979 acquisition of Carrier by United Technologies Corporation (UTC), Day & Night continued as an HVAC brand. Carrier stopped using the ”Day & Night” brand in the late 1990s.
