Bidspirit auction | Denny Motor Freight Lines Paperweight
Denny Motor Freight Lines Paperweight - The company operated 1918 - 1938 (bankruptcy). Today, considered an LTL - Less than Truck Load carrier, it initially operated between New Albany, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. And later expanded by adding new routes and by acquisition. The paperweight appears to be made of aluminum. About 3/4 H x 3 W x 3 D inches Condition: Age-toning to the metal. At first glance, the spokes appear to have rust; however, aluminum does not rust. Because there is a spot of red inside the D of Denny, we believe the spokes may have been painted red, paint that long ago flaked or wore off. Dimensions: 0.75 x 3 x 3 in Weight: 0.41 lb
