Designed as a ladybird ”coccinelle”, the yellow jasper wings decorated with lapis lazuli cabochon, to the gold head, antennae and legs, (accidents to lapis and jasper) Butterfly brooches : both stamped 750 in a lozenge for 18K gold Ladybird brooch : French assay mark for 18K gold, numbered 013412, Cartier maker’s mark (?) partially illegible Dimensions approximately : Flying butterfly : 30 x 30 mm Butterfly : 25 x 30 mm Ladybird : 30 x 20 mm Total gross weight approximately : 37,90 grams (ladybird : 15 grams / butterflies : 22,90 grams)
